Grove City Council Approves OVERHAUL Mobile home zoning …

Assistant City Manager Debbie Bottoroff provided the following information to Grove City Council members as they considered changes to zoning regulations.

“In July, a Public Hearing was held to provide citizens the opportunity to speak in regards to regulations proposed for Manufactured Housing located within the City of Grove.

Following the Public Hearing staff considered concerns and suggestions obtained from the public, information received from the Oklahoma Manufactured Housing Association, as well as information provided in Oklahoma State Statutes and the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle and Parts Commission regarding regulations for Manufactured Housing.

In addition, staff held a meeting in December with representatives from Beacon Point Resort, Woodland Hills Resort, Firebird Mobile Home Park and Pelican Mobile Home Park. A proposal of the Ordinance was provided for their review and comments. Good input and suggestions were provided at this meeting. The proposed Ordinance is the result of the information gathered from the sources noted above. ”

 

Grove Council Changes to Mobile home Zoning

 

On Tuesday, Feb 4, the council adopted the attached overhaul of zoning changes regarding mobile home regulation.
